SCMS students recently participated in the National Geographic GeoBee. Team representatives include: Shana McAdams, Tyler Allen, Austin Carwright, Daniel Shedd (school winner), Catie Burnette, Landon Bentley, Sarah Whitworth, Chris Trammell, Danyel Seeley, and Tyler Jelsone.

The Stephens County Middle School Academic Bowl team recently participated in the regional PAGE (Professional Association of Educators) academic bowl competition. The team tied for second place. Thirteen schools from around Northeast Georgia competed at the meet held at Hilsman Middle School in Athens.
 
Team members include: Taylor Batson, Ethan Fernandez, Sadie Pruitt, Rella Besaw, Rachel Arnold, Maggie Smith, Carli Gastley, Caitlin Collins, Nikhil Patel and Ian Allen . The team is coached by Wynette Neal.

Baseball Tryouts will be January 30 - February 1 (Monday-Wednesday) at Roselane from 3:00-5:30.
